WELCOME DANCERS!

Congratulations! We could not be happier that you are considering being a Dancer for Dance Marathon! RUDM is one of the largest events at Rutgers and by joining, you are a part of an amazing event that supports a wonderful cause.

What do you do as a Dancer?

By committing yourself as a Dancer, you agree to “stand” together with fellow Dancers to honor the Embrace Kids Foundation through these unusual times. Dance Marathon is a proud university-wide tradition with the never-wavering dedication to the patient families we serve.

RUDM is held at Jersey Mike’s Arena, where events, games, food, and fun are provided throughout the event. You would also have a chance to meet the kids and their families during Family Hour, where you would realize why sacrificing your weekend is worth it.

What does the money raised by Dancers support?

All money raised for Dance Marathon benefits Embrace Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the non-medical needs of kids with cancer and sickle cell, as well as their families.

How and why should I sign up to be a Dancer?

Dancers are imperative to the Marathon, and without the time and effort from our Dancers, Dance Marathon could not exist. Register beginning in the fall semester!

Who can participate as a Dancer?

All members of the Rutgers community can participate as Dancers, including undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and alumni.

There are two ways to participate: Dancer or Alumni Dancer.

Dancers and Alumni Dancers raise money to participate in a wonderful year-long experience that culminates in a big end-of-year celebration.

When is the deadline to register?

The last day to register to be a Dancer is February 18, 2024. Fundraising minimums are due by March 3, 2024.
