Welcome, Alumni! You graduated from Rutgers University and want to give back to the organization that meant so much to you as a student. The RUDM Alumni Challenge is the perfect opportunity to support your organization as you help them participate in Rutgers’ largest student fundraiser on campus, Dance Marathon. In 2017, the Alumni Challenge raised over $40,000 for RUDM and Delta Upsilon and Catholic Student Association were the recipients of the prize!
How does the Alumni Challenge work?
Simply choose your organization from our list and donate. The Alumni Challenge takes place from February 19 – March 5 to encourage donations and help organizations have as many Dancers participate as possible. Once all alumni donations are in, the organizations with the most donors (not donations) will receive an additional $1000.00 towards their total. Alumni can donate to organizations in one of three categories: Greeks, Student Organizations, and Residence Halls.
When are winners announced?
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 6. Winners will be notified via their team representatives, and will be able to use the additional $1000.00 to allocate to members of their team to move them to Dancer status. Eligible donations for the contest must be made between February 19 and March 5. To see if your organization is a winner, be sure to check our Facebook page on March 6! And remember – alumni are encouraged to donate all through Marathon weekend!
