Through the RU4Kids program, Rutgers student organizations are paired up with patient families of Embrace Kids Foundation.  This program was created to give the children opportunities for light social interaction that they may not be getting on a normal basis, as a result of their diagnosis. Typically these students visit their patient families in the clinic and hospital while they receive treatment, attend RU4Kids parties and events with them, and arrange other activities on their own time. What is so wonderful about this program is that the students get to actually meet and form bonds with the same children they are fundraising for through Dance Marathon.
