WELCOME DANCERS!

Congratulations! We could not be happier that you are considering being a Dancer for Dance Marathon! RUDM is one of the largest events at Rutgers and by joining, you are a part of an amazing event that supports a wonderful cause.

What do you do as a Dancer?

By committing yourself as a Dancer, you agree to stand together with fellow Dancers for one of two 12 hour sessions to honor the children of Embrace Kids Foundation. RUDM is held at the Rutgers Athletic Center, where events, games, food and fun are provided throughout the event. You also have a chance to meet the kids and their families during Family Hour, where you realize why sacrificing your weekend is worth it.

What does the money raised by Dancers support?

All money raised for Dance Marathon benefits Embrace Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the non-medical needs of kids with cancer and sickle cell, as well as their families.

How and why should I sign up to dance?

Dancers are imperative to the Marathon, and without the time and effort from our dancers, Dance Marathon could not exist. Register today!

Who can participate as a Dancer?

All members of the Rutgers community can participate as Dancers, including undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and alumni.

There are three ways to participate: Dancer, Alumni Dancer, or Alumni Spirit Dancer.

Dancers and Alumni Dancers raise $350 to participate in one 12-hour session of the Marathon. Alumni Spirit Dancers raise $100 to participate in a 5-hour session.

Any questions about dancing can be sent to dancers@marathon.rutgers.edu.
